On Tuesday, the former president Trump persisted in his demand that President Joe Biden come out and engage in a debate with him, citing the benefits to the nation as a whole.
“We must immediately have a full scale debate between Crooked Joe and Honest Don for the good of our now failing Nation, and in order to inform the American people of what is going on in our Country,” Trump said on his Truth Social network.
“I’m ready to go, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE!” the likely Republican 2024 presidential candidate said, issuing the challenge as part of a longer acerbic take down of the Biden campaign:
According to The Public Guide, Trump also demanded that Biden debate him last week, saying it was “important” for the welfare of the nation.
When Fox News reporter Peter Doocy questioned White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the situation, Jean-Pierre declined to comment.
