President Joe Biden once again made comments about gun owners, implying that they would require F-16 fighter jets if they were truly committed to challenging the government.
Townhall reported that Biden addressed reporters and made reference to a well-known quote by Thomas Jefferson about the importance of periodically revitalising the tree of liberty.
Biden expressed his admiration for those who believe in the idea that sacrifice is necessary for the preservation of liberty. Well, you know, I did not see many people out there actively ensuring our access to these weapons…And if you are truly concerned about the government, an F-16 might be something to consider.
Biden made a comparable statement in the midst of summer 2023, prompted by comparable criticism a year prior.
In a report published on June 21, 2023, the Washington Examiner highlighted President Biden’s call for a ban on AR-15 rifles, emphasising the need for change. There are numerous aspects that can be modified, as the majority of Americans believe that owning a weapon of war is unnecessary. I strongly support the Second Amendment. I have extensive experience teaching it, including four years in a law school setting. And you will not believe what happened! There is no mention of unrestricted ownership of any weapon.
He continued, “I find it fascinating when individuals claim that the Second Amendment is connected to the idea that the tree of liberty is nourished by the sacrifice of patriots,” Biden remarked. Well, if you are interested in pursuing that path, working against the government would require obtaining an F-16. You should consider something other than just an AR-15.
