Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively that he is contemplating a visit from the CEO of a Virginia facility that is idle because Democrat President Joe Biden botched Trump’s “Made in America” plans.
“Sure,” Trump replied in a 90-minute exclusive interview when asked whether he would visit a Blue Star NBR plant in southwest Virginia.
Recently, Blue Star CEO Scott Maier told Breitbart News that he would want Trump to see the Virginia facility his business constructed, which is “mothballed” because the Biden administration mismanaged Trump government programs.
Blue Star was founded to manufacture nitrile gloves locally. Healthcare workers, police enforcement, first responders, food handlers, and high-tech manufacturers use tens of billions of nitrile gloves annually. As Breitbart News and other publications revealed, the Trump administration discovered at the start of the coronavirus outbreak that none of these gloves were created in America and that the supply chain was entirely foreign. During the Biden administration, the proportion of gloves imported from Communist China has climbed dramatically, and by the end of the year, the Chinese Communist Party may import the majority of gloves.

According to Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH)’s letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, Blue Star and other facilities like it are losing money despite hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars spent to start them up due to Biden administration mistakes, including moving funding efforts from the Pentagon to HHS.
Biden mistakes have cost Virginia thousands of jobs, according to Senate contender Hung Cao. Maier said he would want to send this to Trump, particularly because Biden spent most of his State of the Union speech exposing billions of dollars in spending that has done nothing for the country.
Maier told Breitbart News last month, “I will welcome anyone that wants to come see all the hard work that is been put into this, to see a state of the art facility that is sitting basically mothballed that can produce a critical item that this country desperately But instead, we are more reliant on China than before the pandemic,”
In an interview with Breitbart News last week, Trump said, “It’s terrible.” Biden has squandered tax funds without generating anything in the nation.
“He is taking the money and investing it in the Green New Scam,” Trump told Breitbart News. “All the money goes to the Green New Scam instead of debt reduction.”

In his Breitbart News interview, Trump argued that Biden’s inaction puts the nation’s supply lines for crucial personal protection equipment and other key health equipment at danger. The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) is also deficient, and Biden is not replenishing it.
“Remember the masks? Trump: “We made them up in New Hampshire.” We did well with it. The one thing I never received credit for. Good foreign policy and economics are credited to me. I receive credit for many things, but not this. I always stated the cupboards were empty when I arrived. Got nothing. None of us had gloves or masks. I am not criticizing former administrations—who would have believed a pandemic could happen? Sounds like an old issue. It was a calamity, but it may happen again.”
Trump has suggested he would make a “heavy play” for Democratic-held states like Virginia. In his final long-form, sit-down interview with Breitbart News in December at Mar-a-Lago, Trump stated he will compete in Virginia, Minnesota, New Mexico, New Jersey, and New York.
Republicans won Virginia in every presidential election but one for 50 years until 2008, when Barack Obama won it. Since then, Democrats have won Virginia. However, Trump’s senior campaign assistant Chris LaCivita is well-versed in Virginia politics.
Trump visiting Blue Star’s facilities to showcase Biden’s spending program failings and the thousands of jobs he lost the commonwealth might unlock the state for him. Virginia has 13 electoral votes, and if Trump wins it, he would virtually certainly return to the White House since Biden would struggle to get 270 electoral votes.
